It is also important to remember that we are just getting started here. This is a framework that will help you develop these tools. For many of you, it will be the first time you’ve thought at length about these topics.
Your engagement with your passion and the behind-the-scenes things that drive you should be an ongoing process. As entrepreneurs, we must constantly evaluate our purpose and make sure it is still serving us.
There have been many times that I simply lost drive, lost confidence in the product I was able to deliver, and the myriad of other changes and challenges that inevitably arise. At those times, I made the conscious and confident decision to shift course, which we talk about at length in Chapter 7.
The word to note here is confidence… that’s what we are after in this book… that’s what we are building. Everything we put in place is designed to give you a map, a north star, a concrete list of who you are, who you want to be, a future vision of a business that supports that… and a map to get you there. Simple right!?
